      Esterbrook is thrilled to unveil the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen, a stunning collaboration with renowned Japanese artist, Kaoru, of BUNGUBOX.

      In Japan, there are many beautiful words that have been used since ancient times to describe the beauty of nature. "Kachofugetsu" (Flower - Bird - Wind - Moon) is one of them. Inspired by this concept, the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen captures the essence of the Someiyoshino cherry tree in full bloom, with its barrel adorned with delicate blossoms.

      Crafted from beautiful semi-translucent crackled pink acrylic, the pen features gold accents and a signature gold plated nib bearing the Japanese character for "flower". The unique design allows you to see through to the printed converter, which is adorned with its own pretty pink blossoms.

      BUNGUBOX is a boutique fountain pen and ink store founded by Kaoru Yamagishi on February 16, 2012, in Hamamatsu, Japan. Kaoru is a forerunner in the area of designing bespoke fountain pens and inks in Japan, taking high-quality Japanese fountain pens and transforming them into delightful pieces of practical artwork that carry a consistent story throughout their naming, packaging, and design.

      • Custom-Designed Nib: The nib of this pen features  Japanese character for "flower", making this a unique and beautiful addition to the standard Jowo #6 nib that comes with each Esterbrook Estie.
      • Elegant Packaging: A pen as beautiful as this one deserves a special box. Each BUNGUBOX x Esterbrook Estie will come in a specially designed box just for this launch.
      • A Note on this pen: Due to the customization of this pen, custom nibs are not included. You can purchase separately here, but it will not be engraved with the Japanese characters.
      • Also note that this cap is a sealed closure, but not a cushion-cap closure. It will feel different than other Esties when capping.
