With the worst of the travel restrictions of the pandemic behind us, we're back in full-swing for another year of, you guessed it, pen shows! Now, I know you're probably wondering why you need to attend a pen show when, like everyone else, most of your shopping is done online these days. But we're here to tell you that shows are a vital part of the overall pen collecting experience and something that can be enjoyed from the first-time novice to the experienced collector alike!

Pen shows have traditionally had a bit of a stuffy feel to them; but, rest assured, this isn't your grandpa's pen show! Over the years, these trade events have grown to be a rich, complex, and electrifying occasion in cities across the country. Philadelphia's show is the first in the calendar year and really sets the tone for what we can expect throughout 2023.

At any given show, you're getting not just going to see pens, you're going to step into a world of people just like you. People that love the feel, mechanics, and history that surrounds pens.
